Edamame Jalapeno Hummus

EDAMAME HUM

I saw an edamame hummus at the store but it had canola oil and a few other not so healthy ingredients so I decided to make my own. If you want to spice up your hummus and enjoy a different flavor other than the usual chickpeas, this recipe is definitely worth trying!

EDAMAME H

Ingredients:
1 cup thawed organic Edamame
2 tablespoons minced Cilantro
2 juiced Limes
1 minced Garlic clove
1/2 Avocado
1/2 minced Jalapeno
1/2 cup Water mixed with 1 teaspoon raw Coconut Vinegar

First add lime juice into the blender to help move the ingredients more easily. Next add all the ingredients and blend until completely smooth. Also, add a pinch of Himalayan pink salt to bring out all the flavors. While blending, add a few spills of the water and coconut vinegar mixture as needed to keep the mixture moving. You won’t need to use all the water. It took me about 3-5 minutes of blending time for the perfect texture. Makes about 1 1/2 cups of hummus. We loved this dip with carrot sticks and organic blue corn tortilla chips! Enjoy 😀
